video: elephant paints an elephant

Thanks to Cory's post on boingboing this morning, got a chance to sit down with my daughters and watch this video of an elephant painting on a canvas (with a paintbrush supplied by its handler).



I was absolutely floored to see just how accurate a picture the elephant painted.

Imagine how much I had to struggle to explain to my girls that not every elephant can do this, nor does every elephant get the chance (should they?)

I'm still a little surprised at how moved I was to witness this, and I do so hope this was a real video and not a doctored one.
