hydrangeas at Elizabethan Gardens
We're at the Outer Banks of North Carolina for a family vacation. Yesterday (Sunday) was a wonderfully sunny and warm day. Today, an overcast Memorial Day, made for the perfect opportunity to go to the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, North Carolina. We usually go later in the year, when the hydrangeas are in full bloom. Most were closed tight, but I did manage to find a couple that were starting to burst into color... here's a pink one. Look to my Flickr stream for some shots of the blues.
